Personality:
Mostly outgoing, Serena has the soft nature one would expect from a counselor or doctor. It is not uncommon to see her smiling for no reason, either. Most of the time, she is agreeable but does not hesitate to speak up when she feels that someone is wrong about something.

Serena can often be sarcastic. This side of her mostly shows up when she has had a rough day, or when she gets annoyed. Being a counselor as well as a doctor, she doesn't act this way towards patients or people she just met.

It is rare to see her angry. But when she does get angry, it is best to leave her be. Though she controls her temper well, she can be extremely intimidating when she becomes angry enough to raise her voice. It is not advised to drive Serena to violence.

Unknown and speculated past:

Not much is known about Serena before she reached the age of sixteen. All that is known is that her mother died at birth, she was adopted out as an infant, and had a child of her own. There are few speculations about how she lived. They are noted below.

It is believed that at an early age, Serena became part of a government organization that was hidden from public knowledge. The section of government was part of a militia which is believed to have developed a relationship with an alien species known as the Trion.

The Trion are a species slightly known to the Federation. They have highly developed empathic abilities. They resemble an orange cloud, composed of an unknown energy, which they use to move around and protect themselves. They are also known cousins of the annoying species, Q.

Serena's rank in her past life, if any, is unknown. However, her attitude and mature demeanor at arriving at the twenty fourth century suggest that she may have been very high up.

Personnel Record:

When she was sixteen, Serena was involved in a temporal incident with four other individuals that caused her to time travel to the twenty-fourth century. Suffering amnesia, nobody knew who she was or where she came from.

She was taken in by Admiral Jason Hannon. He saw her potential to learn things fast. After taking care of her for just a year, Admiral Hannon reccomended Serena to Starfleet Academy. She was accepted and immediately enrolled after passing all of her entry requirements.

She attended many classes and explored many career oppertunities, such as flight operations, engineering and security. She earned small degrees in each, but gave them up, not finding them challenging enough.

Finally, at the age if twenty-two, Serena graduated early from the academy with a degree in medicine. She recieved her first assignment as a lieutenant on the USS Great Britain.

She served on the ship for a year and a half before she had a mental breakdown and began to recover many of her memories from her past life. She took more than two years off duty figure out who she was. She also spent a lot if time recovering from memories which she found traumatic, but refused to discuss.

She found out during this time that she had a long lost daughter, Mealody, who happened to be one of the individuals who traveled with her. She sought out to find her, and wound up not only finding Mealody, but also the child's father, David Connors and the two other individuals who traveled with her.

When Serena was finished with her soul searching, and felt well enough to return to duty, she found herself on the USS Porinale as a Lieutenant Commander.. She worked on the ship for three years until the unexpected retirement of her commander forced her to wonder around for a year, doing classified oddjobs while waiting for a new assignment.

During her three year tour on the Porinale, Serena fell in love with the executive officer, Captain Kevin Royal. It was a surprise to her, because she had been told that because she was half Trion, she would not experience more than the love of a mother. Months after leaving the ship, Royal proposed to Serena and they were married.

During her time away from the Porinale, Serena was sent on various special operations oddjobs. All were classified and can nit be depicted in her personnel file.

A year after the crew of the Porinale parted ways, Serena was sent on a mission to find her former commanding officer, Commodore Que Melrose. He became re-commissioned and Serena was re-stationed on the ship.

She is currently continuing to serve on board the Porinale. She shares her quarters with her husband. They have recently reported that they are expecting twins.
