The planet Pangea, according to reports filed by Commodore Melrose of the USS Porinale, is recently emerging from a bloody civil war between two opposing factions, the Dinomancy Alliance and the Dinotopia Consortium. At present the Consortium has emerged the victor and there are indications that the planet wishes to seek admission into the Federation. The planet of Pangea is an exact copy of Earth during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic when the continent was still one supercontinent hence the name of the planet. Samples of the soil and blood work provided by the Pangean confirmes that they came from Earth millions of years ago and evolved into what is on the planet today. The reason the dinosaurs and plantlife from prehistorice Earth were created is unknown even to the Pangean. Further reports have been promised and the deployment of another vessel to the system has been encouraged.

Pangean Physiology

The Pangean are composed of intelligent anthropomorphic dinosaurs or other prehistoric reptilian species. They have evolve from the prehistorice dinosaurs and reptile transplaneted to Pangea million of years ago. Highly intelligent, high sense of smell and eyesight, and very long lived. Their records shows the longest lived Pangean at 1,089.

Pangea Government and Diplomatic Relations

The Pangean government is an elected Sovereign Government ruled by its elected Czar chosen from either the House of Pure Blood, House of Nederzetting, or , House of Elites. Upon a Czar's death those three seat selects a member from its ranks and the people of Pangea votes on who they wants to be their Czar. There are no term limits due to the positon once elected is for life.

The government is made up of of three branches to ensure that the constitution written by the First Ones are upheld.

Pangea Economy Facts:
The economy of the Pangea has a mixed economy where corporations and other private firms make the majority of microeconomic decisions while being regulated by the government. The Pangea economy has maintained a reasonably high overall GDP growth rate, a low unemployment rate, and high levels of research and capital investment. Major economic concerns of this economy include national debt, external debt, entitlement liabilities for retiring elders who have already begun entering the Elder Care system, consumer debt, a low savings rate, and a large current account deficit.

A central feature of the Pangea economy is a reliance on private decision-making ("economic freedom") in economic decision-making. This is enhanced by relatively low levels of regulation, taxation, and government involvement,as well as a court system that generally protects property rights and enforces contracts. A large population, a large land area, numerous natural resources, a stable government and a highly developed system of post-secondary education are almost universally regarded as substantial contributors to Pangea economic performance.

The number of available workers and, more importantly, their productivity help determine the health of the economy. Throughout its history, the Pangea has experienced steady growth in the labor force, a phenomenon both cause and effect of almost constant economic expansion. Until shortly after the civil war most workers were immigrants from settlement, their immediate descendants. The promise of high wages brings many highly skilled workers from around the planet.

The government attempts to use both monetary policy (control of the money supply through mechanisms such as changes in interest rates) and fiscal policy (taxes and spending) to maintain low inflation, high economic growth, and low unemployment.

The government regulates private enterprise in numerous ways. Regulation falls into two general categories Economic regulation & Social regulations.

Economic regulation:
Some efforts seek, either directly or indirectly, to control prices. Traditionally, the government has sought to prevent monopolies such as electric utilities from raising prices beyond the level that would ensure them reasonable profits. At times, the government has extended economic control to other kinds of industries as well. Following the Civil War, it devised a complex system to stabilize prices for agricultural goods, which tend to fluctuate wildly in response to rapidly changing supply and demand. A number of other industries—trucking and, later, air transport—successfully sought regulation themselves to limit what they considered as harmful price cutting.

Another form of economic regulation, antitrust law, seeks to strengthen market forces so that direct regulation is unnecessary. The government—and, sometimes, private parties—have used antitrust law to prohibit practices or mergers that would unduly limit competition.

The Triassic Insurance Corporation (TIC) which presently guarantees checking and savings deposits in member banks up to $100,000 per depositor to prevent bank failures. This was in response to the widespread bank runs during the Civil War.

Social regulations:
Government has also exercised control over private companies to achieve social goals, such as improving the public's health and safety or maintaining a healthy environment. For example, the Occupational Safety's and Health's Administration's provides and enforces standards for workplace safety, and in the case of the Pangea Environmental Protection Agency provides standards and regulations to maintain air, water, and land resources. The Pangean Food Administration regulates what food may reach the market, and also provides standards of disclosure for food products.

Direct services:
Each level of government provides many direct services. The government, for example, is responsible for national defense, backs research that often leads to the development of new products, conducts space exploration, and runs numerous programs designed to help workers develop workplace skills and find jobs (including higher education). Government spending has a significant effect on local and regional economies—and even on the overall pace of economic activity.

State governments, meanwhile, are responsible for the construction and maintenance of most highways. State, county, or city governments play the leading role in financing and operating public schools. Local governments are primarily responsible for police and fire protection.

Overall, federal, state, and local spending accounted for almost 28% of gross domestic product.

Direct assistance:
Government also provides many kinds of help to businesses and individuals. It offers low-interest loans and technical assistance to small businesses, and it provides loans to help students attend college. Government-sponsored enterprises buy home mortgages from lenders and turn them into securities that can be bought and sold by investors, thereby encouraging home lending. Government also actively promotes exports and seeks to prevent foreign countries from maintaining trade barriers that restrict imports.

Pangea Military
The Pangean military is based out of their military city Cretaceous which has a population of 301,139,947 and support whatever party that is in power. Their primary mission is to protect the people of Pangea. They have small base in every city of about 1,000,000 personnel with the exception of the capital city of Jurassic that has around 4,000,000 personnel due to it being the seat power for the entire planet. The Pangean military is comprise of Army (ground forces), Air Force, and Navy. The enlisted ranks are filled by the population once they acheived a idade de madurez (age of adulthood). The enlisted are placed where ranks are weak. Currrently all three branches are weak due to the civil war and they are currently in the rebuilding stages. The officer comes from Pure Bloods and recruits who test high enough on the entrance exam. The officer attend Military Academy where their mission statement is "To educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets, Midshipmen, Pilots so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty and Honor and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to Pangea as an officer in the Pangean Military." They study all three branches of the military and once they graduate they can serve in any branch. The Military city of Cretaceous is home to the recruite boot camp training center and officer academy.

The Army has ground transports, tanks, and portable anti-air batteries along with personal weapons for each personnel.



The Air Force is limited to fighters and air transportground to space fighters.


The Navy has planetside 2 carriers, 4 cruisers, 3 battleship.


Space Fleet(Part of the Navy) has 1 carriers, 1 battleship,3 space transport,and 2 squardron of space fighter.


Again due to the civil war equipment is currently being rebuilded, however; the Pangean is gearing their military for homeland security and hope acceptance into the Federation and allowing a orbiting starbase will give Pangea plantary and system protection.
